{Friday’s Fancies} Beachy Chic

Affiliate Disclosure

Howdy, everybody! This week I’m linking up with Alison’s Friday’s Fancies over at Long Distance Loving. This week’s theme is Beachy Chic.

I was fortunate to have attended a Christian college in Pensacola, Florida. And I had a truck. And loading people in the bed of your truck (at least at that time) was legal. All this resulted in a very luxurious formula: me + a bunch of friends = hit up the beach just about every weekend! And I miss this terribly!

When Alison announced that this week’s Friday’s Fancies would be beach-themed, all these precious memories of the Gulf, the gorgeous white sands of the beach, dolphins leaping in the sea, sunburns, relaxation, and tons of fun, came rushing back.

Sigh…the good ol’ carfree days. Anyway, on with the fashion! Here’s an ensemble I’d love to hit up the beach in IF I didn’t have my post-baby belly! Hey, maybe someday soon.

Beach Time!

This ensemble features a super cute turquoise bikini. A white net-like dress serves as a cool cover up. The large bag is a necessity for carrying beach essentials like sunscreen as well as personal items like a wallet and lip gloss. The coral earrings and the pearl necklace and ring add a touch of the sea. The flip flops add a super cute touch (and I love that they’re not just plain ol’ flip flops–they’re prettied up with flowers). And last but not least the sun hat and sunglasses provide fashionable protection from the sun’s rays.

Oh, and the colors? Totally inspired by the Pensacola Beach’s white sands and the gorgeous turquoise waters of the sea. ♥
