{Friday’s Fancies} Wedding Wear

Affiliate Disclosure

My Friday's Fancies

June’s Friday’s Fancies’ theme is Wedding Wear, meaning a fashion ensemble that might be something I’d wear while attending a wedding.

If you are unfamiliar with Friday’s Fancies, it’s a really neat blog hop hosted by Alison of Long Distance Loving. Each month, Alison comes up with a theme and other bloggers put together a fashion ensemble surrounding that theme. I really like participating because it hones my creativity and matching skills–plus, it’s just really fun!

Wedding Wear

Since I am VERY pregnant at the moment (30 weeks today!), I decided to pick a dress that would look decent on a lady with a blooming belly. And since it is June, pretty colors were a must! Thus I selected this gorgeous, light yellow spaghetti strap with white lace overlay and black trim. To accessorize this set are some pieces of jewelry that feature my favorite flower–the daisy! The jewelry and sandals also exhibit a lovely turquoise-ish color to compliment and break up the monotony of the yellow. A small, handy clutch also fares well to carry what few things I might need with me while attending a wedding (like makeup for touch ups, a hairbrush, and that’s about it). And last but not least is a white, long-sleeved shrug to bring along just in case the setting is a little chilly (such as from air conditioning that is turned way up high).

This is so cute! Definitely something I would wear if I ever had anywhere to wear it, LoL!
