As the mom to three kids ages {just barely} 5 and under, I am well-acquainted with the feeling of being exhausted and drained. It’s not a fun feeling and I like to nix it as soon as I can when I drag myself out of bed in the morning. After all, I have a TON of work to do! And it all requires my focused attention.
There are a lot of things out there that boost energy. Like energy drinks. Or cereal bars. The problem I find with most of these is they’re flat not good for you (like energy drinks) or they are chock full of processed ingredients which both my health and my weight need to do without.
So here’s a simple yet yummy and effective recipe that I rely on time and time again. This recipe is adapted from one shared on Young Living’s blog. It is a tasty, gluten-free, healthful, energy-boosting recipe that is super easy to make. And the best part–it’s no bake! So I can whip up some of these energy bites in about five minutes flat.
