That’s awesome! ๐ I live way far out in the country so I’m hundreds of miles from everything, let alone their farms, lol! I do plan on making a special trip one day though. ๐
I didn’t see anywhere a mention if these oils are organic. Do you know if they are? I haven’t gotten into essential oils yet but I am highly interested and it would be fun to visit their farm, although I didn’t see where that would be. Thanks for the introduction to Young Living.
Hi, Trish! So sorry for the delayed response! Here’s what I found out. Many of the oils cannot be “certified” organic as most of the plants come from other countries (where the USDA has no jurisdiction), but all their oils are tested to be GMO and pesticide free and none of the farms that grow their plants use ANY chemical pesticides. All of their plants are hand-weeded and they use the EOs that don’t pass standards as natural pesticide on their plants. Young Living focuses on high quality from the time the plants are planted to the time they’re sold to the public, ensuring they are completely pure.
In short, I would say yes, absolutely they are organic. If you’d like more thorough detail, here are some videos done by YL about their process to exhibit their purity:
Hey TJ, didn’t see your response when I responded. I’m constantly having to explain why “organic” toilet water is not the same as Young Living. Thanks for all the great links
Young Living EXCEEDS the Organic Certification so to say they are organic is actually an insult. They could easily get the certificate for those who believe that “organic” means something, but they are in over 30 markets globally and every country has different rules so “organic” cert means something different to everyone.
BTW Organic only means that for 3 years they didn’t use pesticides. That doesn’t mean that the seeds are not GMO, it doesn’t mean that the soil it grew in isn’t contaminated, it doesn’t mean the neighbours aren’t spraying and contaminating their fields and there is no follow up after the certification so……
Young Living controls the soil, the neighbours, the seed quality and their entire reputation was built on having the purest
Hi, Betty. ๐ You could contact Young Living directly about it or google each oil based on it’s type (like carrot seed oil–google “carrot seed vitamins”) to find out. Best bet would probably be by contacting YL directly. Here’s their customer service email: customerservice@youngliving.com
Aren’t essential oils wonderful? So fun to see so many people taking control of their own health with natural solutions.
We live pretty close to their lavendar farms. I’ve been wanting to go for a long time, but haven’t made the time yet. This summer I think for sure!

Love the review and all of the info. I know alot of people are now becoming more interested in essential oils!
Do you show the vitamin content with each oil?
Just asking because there are some I cannot have because of my medicine. Thank you
