Gownies Delivery Gown and Accessories Review

Affiliate Disclosure

gownies logoGownies was founded in 2005 by two stay-at-home moms. With a desire to remain at home while at the same time earning an income, the two moms began making and selling their mom-friendly hospital gowns designed to provide expecting mothers comfort and full coverage while having baby–unlike the standard hospital gowns which are itchy, baggy, and often revealing. Each Gownie has snapping front flaps to ensure easy examination for doctors plus more modest breastfeeding entry.

Gownies sent me a headband, pillowcase, delivery gown, nursing nightgown, baby receiving gown and hat, and socks to review.
Here I am at a ripe 9 months pregnant donning the headband, delivery gown, and socks. As you can see, the delivery gown provides ample room even for my massive (51 inches just before delivery!!) belly!

Here I am in the hospital nursing the Little Lady. The delivery gown has handy snaps by the shoulders which can be undone to nurse.

I absolutely love the delivery gown! It was super comfortable, modest, beautiful, and convenient. I received many compliments on how lovely it was while I was in the hospital.

nightgown folded
Of all the products I was sent for review, the nursing nightgown is my favorite. It’s comfortable and, because the neckline and sleeves have elastic in them, very easy to maneuver to nurse.

Each of the items made my birthing experience extra special and convenient. The pillowcase was wonderful because I didn’t have to use the hospital’s pillowcases (which have been who knows where). The headband was helpful for keeping my hair off my forehead. And the socks with their non-skid bottom were much nicer to use than the ugly hospital version.

baby outfit
The baby’s gown and hat, which match the items I was sent, are really handy as well. It was our first mother-daughter matching items!
