Ch-ch-changes! These printables (improved and expanded a bit) are still available! Only now they’re available via my OTHER, THM ONLY WEBSITE–TJsTaste.com!
I have been on the Trim Healthy Mama plan for just shy of three months now. And it has done me wonders! I am thinner (30+ pounds less!), more energetic, and all the while enjoying the sweet and savory things that I eat!
One of the helpful things that other Trim Healthy mamas recommended I do was to start up a Trim Healthy Mama binder. So I did. And today’s post covers that.
This notebook is a handy place to store information that I use frequently so that I can access it quickly. Some of things I have put in my THM notebook thus far include:
- THM basics (such as how many carbs and fat grams; what constitutes an S, E, FP, or Crossover meal; etc.)
- measurements tracker (so I can keep track of how many inches and pounds I lose)
- recipes (copied from the cookbook or online–for personal use only–or made up/tweaked by me)
- menu plans
- sweetener chart
- a page with the broad foods and which fuel type they are (pretty much just copied from the book)
In the notebook, the recipes are obviously the big thing. I printed the recipes onto regular computer paper and slipped them into page protectors so they (and my THM book) don’t get ruined while I’m cooking.
I categorized the recipes thusly for quick look-up:
- Drinks & Smoothies
- Snacks & Appetizers
- Morning Eats
- Main Eats
- Side & Salads
- Sweets & Treats
- This & That (the miscellaneous category)
What You’ll Need for Your Own THM Binder
- a 1-inch (or wider) 3-ring binder
- dividers (optional; I prefer these plastic ones)
- sheet protectors (optional, but convenient to protect any papers from splatters while cooking)
- blank notebook paper (optional but handy for jotting down anything)
- some (or all) of the printables
belowhere.
Free Printables
NOTE: These printables are still available, but because they have been expanded, improved significantly, and made editable from your own computer, they are no longer free (but they are cheaper than a fancy coffee and payment goes towards the costs to keep my THM recipes free). You can only grab them via my THM ONLY website, TJsTaste.com! Click on the graphic or the button below to grab them!

Neat idea. I’ve been working on my THM binder. I love your printables!
Adrienne says
I am unable to find the printable that are advertised in this site. I went to the other website and the pintails are such that i don’t need. i would love the ones advertised in the pictures on this page if anyone know how to get those, that would be great.
TJ says
Hey, guys. These printables are now available here: https://store.tjstaste.com/product/premium-healthy-body/
Micaela says
How can I get you to make me one! Love the pages and chevron pattern along with the colors. Im so un organized and need help. I think I slip in and out of THM because im not more organized .
Terrie says
This is awesome! Thank you for sharing!
Debbie T says
One of the main reasons I have not jumped into the THM lifestyle is NOT being organized. NOW I have NO EXCUSE! Yay! These free printables are so awesome and I am SO excited. Thank you for sharing!!!
Kathleen Barnett says
Is there a free printable for the ID of S, E, FP etc. I really appreciate what you have developed and appreciate especially what I do not have to create from scratch. Very nice presentation and organization!
TJ says
Unfortunately, I can’t make a printable with that. I did throw that info in mine (just typed it out in a Word doc and printed it). I can’t give away a free printable of it because of copyright law. Sorry!
Kathleen Barnett says
Thank you, I understand and will do as you did! Such a great resource you are. I have my “draft” notebook to take to our THM Alaska group meeting on Saturday! So happy to have something to contribute to help others.
Kathleen Barnett says
THM basics (such as how many carbs and fat grams; what constitutes an S, E, FP, or Crossover meal; etc.) This is what I am asking more specifically. Thank you!
Stacy @Stacy Makes Cents says
My binder makes life easier…I have a lot of my life organized into binders. I think I might be OCD. lol
Thanks for linking at Trim Healthy Tuesday!
Elaine Margeson says
Curious: did you type out each recipe from the book? Or did you copy from the book on a copy machine? Just trying to figure out how to have the recipes in the binder in the best and easiest way. Thanks!
Elaine
TJ says
I did not do it with a copy machine because that’s illegal. I did copy them down for personal use only (did this in a Word doc) and tweaked them so I can understand them easier (like basic recipe format, which the book doesn’t really do); I also added variations that I have done that I liked to some of the recipes. And I omitted recipes I have tried and didn’t like. Some people have told me that they copy-pasted the recipes from the e-book version. Others are typing up the recipes as they try them out so they only put ones they like in their binder and so it’s not so much work to do all at once.
Elaine Margeson says
Thanks! Good to know! 🙂
Trish D says
Thanks – this is a great idea! I have some general notes shoved in a file folder, and have been pasting recipes (non-book ones) into a Word document, but this takes it to the next level
And one comment, just because I’m a bit of a grammar freak: on the stevia substitution chart, the phrase should be “general approximates” rather than generic
TJ says
You’re welcome. 🙂 And I just googled to make sure–generic and general are interchangeable (synonymous) terms, thankfully, so I’ll leave it as-is. Thanks!
Shannon Brown says
I can not seem find where to go to print the free THM binder printables…….is there anyway you could e-mail them to me?
Thanks,

If you’re visiting my website on Internet Explorer, they won’t show up. Try using Chrome or Safari or any other browser, and they should appear for you. Let me know if you have any further troubles. 🙂
Tausha says
Thanks so much for this awesome resource! Im getting started as we speak. Didnt see a follow-up to Kathleens question…is there a print out for the THM basics (E, S, FP, etc)??? Thank yoU!!!
TJ says
Hi, Tausha,
Kathleen had asked the question kinda twice to make sure I understood, so I answered one thread and not both. Basically, because those items are copyrighted, I can’t legally share a free printable with them on it. 🙁 Sorry!
Heather says
Thank you so much for sharing these printables. I am just beginning my journey and found these on Pinterest. Thank you for your time in making these-I am NOT good at making my own printables, yet I love using them to get things together.
TJ says
You’re very welcome. 🙂
Andrina G says
I would love to read this book. I am going through the links and love the visual shopping guide. Please let me know if you do another giveaway for this. I’m really sorry I missed it.
Holly says
Thank you for the free printables! They are wonderful. I just printed all of them out, now to get a notebook and a few other things today and I’ll finally be able to actually start THM. I’ve played around, but never got completely organized or motivated. Thank you so much for the time and organization you have put into this, it really will help me to start.
TJ says
You’re very welcome. 🙂
Amanda says
I love this idea! I LOVE being organized and I’m excited to get started on my own notebook!
Amy says
Thank you so much for this wonderful organizer for THM! I am busy printing right now. I was just curious if you happened to make a spine printable to match the cover….I would love for my spine to look as amazing as the cover and pages inside! 🙂
TJ says
I don’t have one yet, but that’s a great idea! I’ll work on designing one. Thanks!
TJ says
Ok, Amy–just added them. 🙂
Jenny says
Are you still following the THM plan?
Candace says
I would love to have a blank THM divider printable for “lunches” & “breads”:) Is there any way? I’m sure you’re very busy!!!
TJ says
Hi, Candace–just added a blank divider page. 🙂 If perchance it doesn’t pop up for you right away, it’s probably because your browser is caching the post, so you can either clear the cache or try to view it again later. 🙂
Julieanne says
Thanks so much for mentioning the Trim Healthy Mama Visual Shopping Guide I’ve developed on my website. I’m so happy that it’s been a blessing to others! 🙂
Julieanne
TJ says
Thank you for putting it together. 🙂
Joy V. says
The visual shopping guide is not coming up. It shows a 404 error.
TJ says
Hi, Joy! Sent you an email. 🙂
Larry says
I’m increasingly recommending THM to my patients (I practice internal medicine), but I need some practical materials to get them started. Maybe I missed it in my haste, but I don’t see from this page how to get the printables you mentioned. Can I get them from you? Also, if you have any other similar resources please let me know. THanks!
TJ says
Hi, Larry! If you’re using Internet Explorer, they won’t show. Use any other browser (Chrome, Safari, etc.) and they will. 🙂
Heather Marie says
I would love to have a copy of your printables. Could you tell me how I can get one or send me a link via my email. Thank you so much. This will make THM so much more doable.
TJ says
Hi, Heather. The printables are the links located under the “Free Printables” heading. Click on it, a new page will open, and you can download and print them. They may not show up in Internet Explorer, but every other browser (including Google Chrome) will exhibit them. 🙂
Sue J says
I don’t see the prinables – did I miss them?
TJ says
They’re the links found under the heading “Free Printables.” Just click on a link and a new page should open to a PDF where you can download and print them. 🙂 If you are using Internet Explorer, they may not show up (any other browser, including Google Chrome, works). 🙂
Gavi says
Oh my goodness! I popped over here to see what you may have since I really need to make a binder for all my stuff and I see you’ve color coordinated the exact same way I did on my eBook highlights. Too funny! So glad you put this into printables. It will make it so much easier for this homeschool mama. Thank you!
Lisa says
So neat!! I love organization and will do this for sure!! Can you do a conversion with the new THM sweeteners they just came out with? That is all I’m using so it would be so helpful!!
TJ says
Hi, Lisa. What new sweeteners are you referring to? If it’s xylitol and erythritol, they are used in equal amounts in substitution of sugar.
Lisa says
Thanks TJ,
I’m referring to the THM sweetners.
TJ says
The sweeteners that Pearl and Serene sell are Erythritol (which, to use, you swap it cup for cup for sugar), Erythritol + Stevia (which is their version of Truvia; the stevia chart printable has how to swap it), and the third one they sell is pure Stevia (which is also covered with the chart, under Extract Powder). And I think that’s all the sweeteners they sell (unless they’ve added more and I’m blind and don’t see them, lol). Hopefully this helps. 🙂 Please let me know if you have any further questions. 🙂
Karlene says
Thanks so much for the printables! I’m looking forward to starting! 🙂
Karen says
Great site. I’m “Favorite” ‘ing your page. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, and be blessed.
Jessica Moore says
I have printed out the section dividers. (Thank you so much!)
I would like to use the blank sheet to make some “personalized” sections. I want to match it with the rest of the dividers. Would you possibly be able to share the name of the font you used for them? I plan to run the printed blank dividers through Word with a font on it.
Thanks!
TJ says
Hi, Jessica! Sorry for the late response–I’ve been switching to a new host so things have been messed up and I am super behind! The fonts I used were Lino Stamp (for the stamp font–http://www.dafont.com/lino-stamp.font) and Aquarelle (for the cursive–http://fonts101.com/fonts/view/Script/32546/Aquarelle). Both of those links lead to free font websites. Just be VERY CAREFUL when downloading and installing; DaFont I think is still pretty safe, but Fonts 101 where I got the Aquarelle font is pretty spammy nowadays–just be careful not to install anything other than the font. 🙂
Karla Salsbury says
Please send me link to pages per my email. This site will not allow me to open it up.
Thank you!

TJ says
Hi, Karla,
Are you using an older version of Internet Explorer? Try a different, fully updated browser as that is typically the culprit.
Dawn says
I see that your original blog entry is on October 8, 2013, I’m curious how your success has been in the past two years since following THM. I’m just reading up on it and learning (Thank you for the printables) I’m curious to see how your success was, and where you’re at now.
Please email me with response if you’re more comfortable with that!
Thanks!
Dawn
TJ says
Hi, Dawn! Sorry for the late reply. THM has continued to help me out as I stick to it. I got pregnant since I was on it last and switched to a more paleo diet to keep my milk rich. I have recently weaned my baby (almost a year and a half old now and she decided it was time to drink from a big kid cup like her brothers) so I’m going to start THM again. Pearl also sent me the new book and cookbook for review so I can kick it back into action. I’ll give it a shot for a couple more months (mainly to test out a variety of the recipe) then post an updated, new review featuring the new books. So please stay tuned. Thanks for the question, Dawn. Have a great day!
Cara says
Thank you for sharing…you are awesome, girl!
Jamie Moore says
Thank you so much for making these. I am just starting THM and I am Diabetic so this is going to help me alot. If you have any more helpful information please share it with me. I need all the help I can get.
Casie says
How long does it typically take to receive the printables after subscribing to your mailing list?
TJ says
Should be right away. Keep in mind though that they are no longer available here on Measuring Flower, but they are available on my THM friendly website here: tjstaste.com/tjs-thymes/
